A consultation is required and appointments are not available.
Your GP will write a prescription which you will be required to fill at the Pharmacy and return to the clinic with the vaccine.
Recall & Reminder System
Patients will automatically be enrolled in a reminder/recall system.
If you have been forwarded a recall or reminder and prefer to be removed from our register, please notify reception.
Tests & Results
Belmont Family Medical & Bulkbilling Clinic strives to ensure that you are given sufficient information regarding the importance, benefits and risks associated with tests which have been arranged for you.
It is expected the patient will return and follow up on test results.
No appointment is necessary and you do not need to see the same doctor although it is often best to for continuity.
Medicare & Veteran Affairs Cards
A valid Medicare or Veteran Affairs Cards MUST be presented to reception on arrival in order to be bulkbilled Monday - Friday.
Work Cover & TAC
Patients are required to pay an account on the day of service and claim expenses back from their employer/insurance company
Overseas visitors and private patients
All patients presenting without a Medicare card will be require to pay for service on the day. Receipts can be presented to your insurance company for a reimbursement of fees.
Mixed billing applies on weekends and public holidays
All appointments on weekends and public holidays will attract a private fee of $85 for a standard consultation. Pension and concession card holders or children under 16 will be bulkbilled.
